Bird Watching

Supported by water dlivered by irrigation canals and pipelines, wetlands along with irrigation reservoirs provide many opportunties for birdwathching or hunting. Bird watchers visiting the Kinbrook Island Marsh located just south of Brooks, Alberta in the Eastern Irrigation District can expect to see over 250 species of birds over the course of the year. Hunters can find opportunities to hunt waterfowl or game birds such as Hungarian Partridge, or Ringneck Pheasants.
